Clearing the cache may log you out of websites and remove stored settings.
Regularly clearing cache can help to improve browser performance and resolve loading issues
Google Chrome
1. Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser.
2. Access Settings: Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner and select "Settings."
3. Navigate to Privacy and Security: Scroll down and click on "Privacy and security" in the left sidebar.
4. Clear Browsing Data: Click on "Delete browsing data."
5. Select Time Range: Choose the time range for which you want to clear the cache. For a complete clear, select "All time."
6. Select Cached Images and Files: Ensure that "Cached images and files" is checked.
7. Clear Data: Click on "Clear data" to delete the cache.
Microsoft Edge
1. Open Edge: Launch the Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Access Settings: Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner and select "Settings."
3. Navigate to Privacy, Search, and Services: Select "Privacy, search, and services" from the left sidebar.
4. Clear Browsing Data: Click on "Choose what to clear."
5. Select Time Range: Choose the desired time range. For a full clear, select "All time." Ensure that "Cached images and files" is checked. Click on "Clear now" to delete the cache
Mozilla Firefox
1. Open Firefox: Launch the Mozilla Firefox browser.
2. Access Settings: Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner and select "Settings."
3. Go to Privacy & Security: Select "Privacy & Security" from the left menu.
4. Clear Data: Under the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click on "Clear Data."
5. Select Cached Web Content: Ensure that "Cached Web Content" is checked.
6. Clear: Click on "Clear" to remove the cache.
Safari (Mac)
1. Open Safari: Launch the Safari browser.
2. Access Preferences: Click on "Safari" in the top menu and select "Preferences" or “Settings” depending on what version of macOS you are running.
3. Go to Privacy: Go to the Privacy tab.
4. Clear Cache: Click on Manage Website Data. Choose Remove All.
